Accounting Supervisor - Revenue

We seek a results driven Revenue Accounting Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform monthly close procedures related to revenue transactions to ensure proper monthly revenue amortization in Oracle AR module and proper interface to General Ledger
· Perform monthly reconciliation of deferred revenue accounts and accounts receivable accounts to general ledger. Research and resolve reconciling items as needed
· Ensure that retail channel rebates, promos and chargeback contra-revenue items are accounted for correctly
· Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for the domestic and international business units
· Work closely with sales team to enforce bookings policy and ensure proper invoicing
· Manage one (or possible two) Billing Clerk(s) for domestic and international invoicing and collection activities
· Work closely with Webroot IT group on system improvements to Oracle Accounts Receivable and Order Management modules
· Responsible for collection of past due customer invoices and weekly reporting of collection status
· Manage AR collections for the domestic and international business units to continuously strive to reduce accounts receivable aging
· Responsible for providing accounts receivable and revenue information to external auditors in relation to annual audits and quarterly reviews for all areas of responsibility
· Maintain and strengthen internal controls over accounts receivable and ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act
· Manage filing of monthly sales tax returns
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelors degree in Business or Finance, Accounting preferred
· Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in a similar role in a mid- to large-size company
· Management experience is required
· CPA a plus
· Experience in a fast paced tech environment a plus
· Proficient in Oracle Applications strongly preferred. If not Oracle, strong systems experience with SAP or PeopleSoft
· Proficient in PC applications: MS Word and MS Excel
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
