Application Interaction Engineer
ITT Visual Information Solutions provides integrated commercial software
solutions that help scientists, engineers, researchers and medical
professionals turn complex data into useful information. Our 150,000
customers from over 80 countries use IDL, ENVI and IAS to analyze data and
imagery and deploy imaging applications.
Our solutions are used in a variety of industries, including remote sensing,
engineering, earth sciences, aerospace and defense, medical imaging, oil and

including training, consulting and technical support, ITT Visual Information
Solutions offers the most complete data visualization and image analysis

We are looking for a highly-motivated, innovative Interaction Engineer to
join our geospatial product engineering team. This position will be
intimately involved with design, definition and validation of application
user interaction for geospatial applications.
The successful candidate will have a passion for understanding user
interaction, creating innovative solutions, and working as a key member of
the overall product development team.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with software interaction design: methodologies, tools
and techniques.
* Proven ability to identify key user traits and develop targeted
user workflows from market requirements and technical capabilities.
* Strong experience with remote sensing or engineering software
applications.
* 3+ years of commercial software interaction design or equivalent
experience.
* Strong written and oral communication skills; strong
organizational skills.
* The ability to interact directly with customers and all levels of
the company.
* BS/MS in computer science, engineering or related field.
* ENVI Experience a plus.
* This candidate must have strong personal initiative and be
results-oriented.

We have a great opportunity for a creative, energetic, self-motivated person
to join our Marketing Communications team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for assisting in the execution of global marketing communication
programs including direct marketing, web content development, search engine
marketing, advertising, sales tool development, PR, promotions, and trade
events.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
* 2+ years of sales or marketing experience
* Experience developing commercially-driven, content and lead
generation programs
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Superior communication, organization and planning skills, plus
demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
* Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills
* Ability to work under deadline pressure
* Self-directed, results-oriented individual
* Desire and proven ability to work in collaborative marketing and
sales environment
* Knowledge of basic design concepts and web-based marketing
* Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
* Bachelors degree; preferably in Communications, Marketing, English,
or Business
* Experience in software or other technical industry preferred
* Experience in Web-Marketing, SEO marketing, eMarketing preferred
