SUMMARY

RTP specializes in software, web and integration services unique to the resort and recreation industries, in particular to the ski and parks/attraction market segments. RTP is made up of three departments: Sales, Development and Delivery & Support; within Delivery & Support there are two teams: Delivery and Support. This position is responsible for configuring, installing and training customers on our software, web & integration products as well as some solution design. They should be well versed in operations and have deep functional and SME skills with RTP products. Significant interaction with our clients is an every day occurrence, much of which is onsite at the customer’s location.

Delivery & Support Organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for performing onsite and remote software, web and integration tasks to include installing and training customers on RTP’s product suite. Depending on their skill set, the Implementation Specialist may also work closely with the Implementation Managers to support solution design. The responsibilities include:

• Perform web, software and/or integration implementation tasks
• Perform and participate in internal and external training
• Solution design
• Understand customer business model and business needs
• Understand customers’ requirements
• Design/Configure software to meet needs of customer
• Install & train users on software
• May work with development on custom requirements
• May work with implementation manager and support team to transition open issues
• Produce documentation such as user guides/job aides to support installation process
• Track and report issues into Implementation

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2-5 years experience in related business process area or technology consulting environment.

Candidate must
• Demonstrate expertise in Software, Web and/or Integration Services
• Posses Ski and P&A industry knowledge
• Perform problem solving and solution design
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Word, MS Excel
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Hardware, network and SQL knowledge a plus
• Ability to think creatively
• Ability to work effectively on dynamic teams
• Properly reflect RTP image and product in marketplace
• Ideal candidate will posses deep understanding of preferably 2 out of the 4:
o RTP and RTP products/solutions

POSITION DESCRIPTION

RTP is looking for a .NET architect and Development Manager to lead the evolution of RTP’s flagship enterprise software product. This position will provide broad functional and technical expertise in designing and developing software applications primarily for the RTP|ONE product suite. This position will also provide application architecture direction; setting coding standards and reviewing solutions against standards and ensuring best practice object oriented design is utilized. This is a hands on development manager position with coding responsibility. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for design, development and delivery of all RTP|ONE product development initiatives.
• Interface with customers, sales and marketing, delivery and support and all areas of development to represent RTP’s software products, derive application requirements, gain input on designs and drive the best solutions possible into RTP’s software products.
• Review business and product requirements and analyze feasibility, approach and estimate development effort.
• Prototyping solutions and taking on development projects as appropriate
• Identify and drive improvements in the software development process that facilitates quality, customer experience, schedule, and cost improvements.
• Reviewing and signing off on all functional and technical designs
• Provide day to day supervision and direction on RTP|ONE product development efforts
• Act as primary point of escalation to support team for RTP|ONE product issues
• Responsible for setting C# development standards and tools
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring architecture and coding standards are met across all RTP products
• Efficiently manage and develop your direct reports. Hold regular status review, staff, and 1 on 1 meetings. Conduct performance reviews, work prioritization and supervision of C# developers focused on RTP|ONE.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
RTP is looking for a full-time Sr. Release Engineer to report to the Manager of QA and Release Engineering in the software development group. This position will have overall responsibility for developing the software build and deployment process for all of RTP’s software products. RTP’s software is primarily written in C# using the Microsoft .Net 2.0 framework. Experience with software builds and release management of Microsoft.Net applications is essential. Knowledge and experience in installation, deployment and electronic patch releases is required. Experience using software configuration management tools, automated build testing tools and electronic patch release systems is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and implement a deployment strategy for all RTP software applications.
• Provide day to day management and administration of software branching, merging and build processes for all software products and modules.
• Implement an improved deployment strategy to reduce manual effort installing and sending software updates to customers.
• Responsible for all software deployments and ensuring installation and update programs operate effectively.
• Provide support and assistance in managing branches and merge conflicts.
• Work closely with software development, quality assurance and support teams to ensure high-quality software builds and releases, installation and deployment.

• Experience in developing and implementing a software deployment strategy for enterprise n-tier applications with many different components (client executables, web tier, mobile device component and db server components.
• Experience developing installation programs using InstallShield or similar.
• Experience developing deployment strategies for .Net client applications.
• Experience with database (SQL Server) change management and effective build/deployment processes
• Experience with Surround SCM or similar.
• Strong verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to work closely with others on a team, facilitate meetings and to interact with both technical and business oriented individuals.

The Implementation Manager (IM) will work closely with the customer to help develop the overall solution design. In addition to strong project management skills, the IM is expected to have broad software, web and/or integration services skills, perform ‘hands-on’ work and travel where appropriate.

Delivery & Support Organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Manager should be well-versed in understanding customer business process areas related to our core products – Web, Integration, POS, Retail, Rental, Ticketing/Pass, Access Control, Activity Management, Ski School, Golf, Food & Beverage, etc. All implementation resources are also responsible for staying on top of functional and industry trends.

The IM will lead overall project management for 3-5 customer implementations. The responsibilities include:

• Relationship Management
• Manage web, software and/or integration projects
• Perform discovery / requirements gathering
• Some travel required
• Initial solution design
• Create PRD/BRD document for web implementations/software customizations
• Work with various resources across team, company and clients to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and manage project schedule, budget and all supporting documents
• Develop communications strategy and risk analysis
• Allocated time may be dedicated to account management tasks

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3-5 years experience managing or supporting technology, web or software implementations as well as poise and customer/client centric approach. Must have demonstrated previous success in managing a successful implementations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

RTP is looking for a full-time QA automation engineer to report to the Manager of QA and release engineering in the software development group. This position will have responsibility for developing and implementing an automated testing strategy for all of RTP’s software products. The QA Engineer will perform complex software test automation tasks to ensure the quality of RTP’s products. This position will develop programs, scripts and tools/utilities to support specific testing goals and define the overall QA Test Automation Strategy. This is a technical, programming-centric position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and implement an automated testing strategy for all RTP software applications.
• Research, evaluate, help select and implement new automated test tools for QA.
• Work with developers to implement unit testing automation and full system regression testing capabilities.
• Create test beds, test plans, test cases, suites, and scripts that exercise new builds
• Manage a growing suite of regression test scripts to keep them current as the software functionality evolves.
• Provide testing results, steps to reproduce and regression test statistics to developers and management.
• Structure test plans and scripts for existing functionality and for new functionality as it is developed.
• Contribute to the entire development process and the role of QA in it, including participation in requirements, design and prototype activities.
• Report status weekly and keep all teams informed of activities as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience developing and implementing an automated testing approach for a complex enterprise level application.
• Demonstrate strong QA methodology, process and experience in automation implementation.
• Proven experience with software development lifecycle and with the development of test solutions.
• Ability to develop test cases, test scripts, test suites, and test plans.
• Experience with database systems with an ability to create SQL queries.
• Any C# / .NET experience coding test cases would be a big plus
• Familiar with object-oriented software development concepts and technologies specifically with the .NET Framework.
