Salesforce.com Administrator and Business Applications Manager

Rally Software Development located in Boulder is a dynamic, growing
company that provides software-driven enterprises with the knowledge,
coaching and tooling needed to succeed with Agile development practices.


Due to our success, we are currently looking for a motivated
Salesforce.com Administrator and Business Applications Manager to evolve
our enterprise-wide implementation of Salesforce.com as well as support
internal users including Rally's sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

Be the Product Owner for Rally's strategic enterprise-wide
Salesforce.com implementation by -

* Acting as expert, evangelist and ScrumMaster for
salesforce.com, becoming Rallys "source of reporting" of core business
data and metrics.

* Acting as a single point of contact for enhancement requests
(customizations), user issues and system integrations.

* Administering, monitoring, and maintaining Rally's
Salesforce.com platform implementation, including license administration
and user roles.

* Co-developing and enforce system security policies and audits.

* Leading a team of Super-users to identify and manage work-flow
rules and alerts.

* Escalating issues to Salesforce.com support.

* Developing and enforce sandbox oversight policies.

Support internal teams including sales, support and marketing by -

* Training of users on new Salesforce.com functionalities and
reports.

* Aiding in the creation of departmental documentation as needed.

* Configuring shared and custom reports.

* Configuring UI and work-flow customizations ensuring
Salesforce.com best meets user needs.

* Managing bulk imports of data, ensuring timely updates and data
integrity.

* Implementing Apex code for managing data.

Your skills should include:

* Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

* Strong project management skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent problem solving skills

* Sales process (workflow) mapping

* Proven training skills

Minimum Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical or business specialty a must.

* Minimum of 3 years working knowledge and/or implementation of
an enterprise class CRM application (Salesforce.com preferred but could
include Siebel, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).

* Understanding of database concepts and data management (RDBMS).

* Experience with APEX and Salesforce.com customizations.

* Prior experience integrating ERP level systems with
salesforce.com a plus.

* Experience managing cross-functional projects.

* Salesforce.com Administrator certification is a plus.

Your skills should include:

* Minimum of 5 years of operations experience

* Operations experience with a J2EE architecture with RedHat or
Centos, JBoss, and Oracle 9i or 10g

* Experience with a Redhat cluster with iSCSI SANs is a plus

* Good technical problem solving skills

* Good communication skills

* Good Unix/Linux scripting skills

* A detailed and methodical (bullet-proof) nature when executing
product system installations, migrations, maintenance, and upgrades
