Job description:
We have a direct permanent hire position as a Business Analyst/Data Modeler for our client in Louisville.
Requirements:
** Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of any data driven organization and the Healthcare industry.
** Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses and can suggest areas of improvement.
** Create, review and edits requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solution.
** Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for Business Client engagements.
** Ability to take raw data to 3rd Normal form
** Ability to lead a JAD session and facilitate\extract Business Requirements
** Understands Dimensional modeling
** Collaborate with identified reporting needs and data users on the effective definition and delivery of information via the Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and OLAP Cubes
** Assist in the design and development of Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions, which incorporates data models, back and front-end extraction processes, data transformation, and load processing
** Establish, monitor, and maintain data movement and transformation mappings for warehouse/data mart developers and end-users
** Maintain and enhance Warehouse and Mart documentation and data dictionaries and data models
** Perform ad-hoc data investigation and analysis to address inquiries and monitor data quality and data stewardship
