What you offer:
This individual will assist in setting up a reliable, repeatable, and
self-documenting process for building and releasing software
installation packages and updates. This will include the creation of
deployable software packages for various products, support of the
installation of that software on various predefined hardware, and
support of the various product teams. This person will also be
performing high-level testing of the installation process itself.
Maintain and support the existing build and promotion process. Create
installation packages (MSIs and EXEs) for new and existing products.
Coordinate releases with the QA, Support, Engineering and Product
Management teams. Track dependencies between the various components of a
release to ensure that all components are mutually compatible, and that
the release process accounts for any dependencies. Work with client IT
departments to assist in the deployment of the release. In some cases,
this person will actually perform the installation themselves on client
systems.
A bachelor's degree in a computer or technology-related field, or 3+
years experience working in the area of software deployment (build
management, configuration management, software deployment, and/or
release management systems)
Necessary Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good familiarity with Microsoft operating systems
* Experience with build management, configuration management,
software deployment, and/or release management systems

This position will be involved in all aspects of enhancing, maintaining,
operating, and providing information from and access to the company's
SQL and OLAP data warehouse.
Essential Job Duties:
Design, implement, and maintain SQL and OLAP data schema. Design,
implement, enhance, and maintain ETL system written with DTS, SSIS, SQL
scripts, and VB.Net. Design, implement, enhance, and maintain reports
written with Reporting Services and, to a lesser extent, Excel and
Access. Design, implement, enhance, and support internal tools for
user-facing reporting and data delivery tasks. Manage the ETL and
reporting infrastructure to ensure the smooth and timely processing of
data and delivery of reports. Participate in the management of the SQL
and OLAP databases and related systems. Assist with other team projects
and activities, as required. On a rotating basis, provide on-call
support and off-hours operations for data warehousing and reporting
systems.
Experience:
A Bachelor's degree is required. A variety of skills will be required
for this position. We do not expect candidates to be experienced in all
of the areas listed below, but please provide specific information on
your experience with the following:
* Microsoft SQL 2005, including schema design, query design, and
stored procedure development.
* Microsoft Analysis Services 2005, include cube design and MDX
query design.
* Microsoft .NET languages, specifically VB.Net, C#, or ASP.Net.
* Microsoft DTS, SSIS, or other ETL software.
* Report writing with Microsoft Reporting Services, Crystal
Reports, or equivalent.
Skills: Can work effectively with other team members, other departments,
and external clients to define and implement SQL and OLAP data stores,
ETL processes, reports, data warehouse tools, and other systems, as
required. Detail-oriented; works to ensure that collected data and
