Collaborate with members of System Management Engineering to design and build a 2nd generation data warehouse of data generated by company*s online activities. Hands on work with MS SQL server databases and OLAP cubes. Analyze current infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvements and enhanced functionality. Participate in enterprise-level projects and exercise independent judgment regarding high-impact infrastructure implementations. Resolve highly challenging and/or high-impact issues or establish strategic initiatives. Perform system design, lead concurrent projects, and provide technical and functional deliverables to meet service delivery standards. Participate in technology planning, decisions, and implementations.

Responsibilities include: Maintain existing warehouse and reporting infrastructure and gain an in-depth understanding of present day systems; collaborate on design and development of next generation warehouse and reporting infrastructure.

Experience: 6+ years in SQL and/or OLAP development, In-depth SQL knowledge required, including writing stored procedures, designing database schema, and optimizing for performance.

Knowledge of MS OLAP & MDX is required. Knowledge of DTS processing and Analysis Services is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services is a plus. Knowledge of a programming language a plus.
