The Senior System Engineer for CareAdvance Hosting will support the
CareAdvance application solution delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Work with Microsoft Windows 2003 to manage CAE application
servers, web servers, VMWare servers, and infrastructure servers
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain CAE hosted operations related
systems and servers
- Monitor CAE system and application availability and performance
- Provide CAE systems support during hosted implementations, on

The ideal candidate will be skilled in the areas of data modeling, physical database design, troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, maintenance, migrations, recovery methodologies and contingency options. The job will also involve the challenge of auditing the current environments, capacity planning, and providing best practices for the future production/development/test environments, which may include establishing new standards and procedures.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting Production/Development Oracle databases in a UNIX/Linux environment.
* Data Modeling, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell, PERL & JDBC programming skills

for our Web Operations team. The successful candidate will thrive in a

RESPONSIBILITIES



* Develop, implement and manage test plans, test scripts,
schedules, and detailed reporting for new web application builds and
releases.
* Manage the development and execution of all functional and
regression testing. Resolve issues, correct errors, and deliver quality
applications.
* Work closely with developers and project managers on all aspects
of our web applications including reviewing specifications, designing
and implementing automation procedures, and creating test data
* Define and enhance QA processes methodologies. Ensure
established standards, processes and procedures are used consistently
throughout the system development life cycle.
* Define and track quality assurance metrics
* Coordinate with business teams to diagnose errors reported by
end users and determine appropriate steps to resolve issues.
* Manage defect tracking and resolution process
* Provide support as needed on SOX compliance and IT Control
testing
* Supervise and train testing personnel
* This position is approximately 50% management/50% hands-on QA



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



* Candidate must have experience in QA for web applications
and
managing multiple projects simultaneously within a web QA environment.

* Solid and proven project management and project planning
skills

* Thorough understanding of:

* Development Life-Cycle Process (primarily Agile)

* QA Life-Cycle Process, Testing Methodologies and practical
application

* Formalized QA Product Risk Assessments and Techniques

* Analyzing Requirement Specifications

* QA Metrics for Automation, Defects, Scheduling, or Resources

* Developing Test Plans

* Software change control policies and procedures

* Designing manual and automated test scripts for data and
functional testing

* QA Test Environments utilizing SQL databases

* Excellent verbal/written communication, organization, and
leadership skills

* Proven ability to multi-task, handle multiple assignments
simultaneously, and effectively bring discussions and issues to closure

* Team Player with a proactive, positive attitude

* 7+ yrs QA test experience with 3+ yrs leading/managing
testing teams of 3 or more

* 4+ yrs Web Testing experience

* BSCS or equivalent industry experience
