Senior Implementation Engineer
Summary
This is a customer facing, professional services position at an Identity
Management software start-up requiring excellent technical skills in web
application programming, identity integration, and network design. Analysis
of customer network and web application architecture, design of Symplified¹s
Identity Mangement last-mile integration, and hands on execution of
integration plan are the primary responsibilities of this position.
Mindfulness on customer care each step of the way is required. Follow-up
support and possible involvement in pre-sales process exists.
Tasks candidate will perform
* Integrate Identity Management / Web Single-Sign-On solution with customer
networks and applications
* Integrate existing customer web application authentication using
Symplified tools and web service APIs to Symplified product
* Web application programming and integration (Java/JSP, .NET/ASP, PHP),
including portal and CMS customization
* Assist customers with integration at a technical level
* Train customer administrators on use of service
* Manage customer expectations
* Provide pre-sales support if needed
* Other duties as assigned by management
Profile / Requirements
* Professional Service Integration
- 5-10 years experience in web application programming and integration using
a variety of Java/JSP, .NET/ASP, and PHP
- Working knowledge of web service programming (SOAP/REST)
- In dept experience with HTML and the HTTP protocol
- Understanding of identity user stores and LDAP protocol
* Network Security
- Working knowledge of networking, network design, I/P routing and
configurations
- Experience with DHCP, DNS, Proxy, and network protocols, layer 2 and layer
3
- CISSP certification a plus
* Customer Service
- Understands that customers are what drive a company and knows how to
provide excellent service
- Technical training experience a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Identity Management preferred
- Represents company well at customer site and over the phone
* Work ability / organization skills
- Enjoys start-up atmosphere and is able to put in the time necessary to
make the company a success
- Is not limited by role. Can see what needs to be done and steps up even if
not in core duties of job description
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to accomplish assigned tasks and
take own initiative to coordinate and complete tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Will be required to travel to customer sites and Symplified collocation
facilities
Education
* Bachelor¹s Degree in CS or equivalent
* Technical Certifications a plus
