Pre-Shared Keys

32 Solutions LTD has the following in a job ad.

"Experience with authentication technologies (LDAP, SecurID, and pre-shared keys)"

What other kind of keys are there?  As if we would share keys later with strangers or a box that just appears on the network.  Of course the trust relationship is set up ahead of time.
Will HR will get a resume of a person highlighting their experience with "pre-shared" keys?
