JOB DESCRIPTION: TECHNICAL TRAINER



Reports to: Training Manager



Role:



The primary responsibility of this position is to perform technical
training duties for new hires and existing employees. In addition, the
Technical Trainer will assist in the training of new and existing
customers.



The Technical Trainer will work closely with the training department
management to develop, deliver and follow-up on training classes. The
Technical Training will prepare new employees to all technical phases of
Touchstar Software products and services. The Technical Trainer must be
willing to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites.



Responsibilities:



* Learn the key aspects of each customer's business as they
relate to the TouchStar product

* Prepare and deliver basic and advanced Technical Training
course work

* Do follow-up training for internal employees

* Training customers both remotely and on-site

* Perform any other tasks required by the Training department



Skills:



* Bilingual in Spanish and English

* Ability to learn technical aspects of our product, hardware
and the telephony industry

* Ability to understand how the TouchStar product features

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a customer focused individual with excellent communication
skills, experience with client/server software applications, as well as
exposure to Microsoft SQL. A typical product implementation in the
field would require hardware staging, software installation and
configuration, product training and customer consulting. This person
must have the highest work ethic, a passion for customer service and
excellence. This position requires 75% travel to customer locations.
Since this position requires face to face interaction with TouchStar's
customers, a clean and professional attitude is mandatory. During time
when travel is not necessary, the Installation Engineer will provide
creative and analytical first level support for customer cases received
through TouchStar's technical support department. Resolving these cases
is done via Phone and Remote Control software (pcAnywhere, gotomeeting,
etc.).



IN THE FIELD DUTIES:

* Willingness to travel on short notice across the country.
* Interface with customers at beginning of implementation phase to
set expectations and communicate the schedule and order in which the
implementation will take place.
* Stage telephony, SQL, and other servers in racks in accordance
with customer's directions.
* Help turn up T1 lines through a collaborated effort with
customer's telephone company.
* Install and configure necessary software/hardware as described
by the SOW (statement of work)
* Train customer/agents/supervisors/managers on the functionality
and use of the TouchStar suite of products.
* Remain on-site to resolve any problems that arise during initial
use of product and to assure full customer satisfaction and
understanding of the solution implemented.
* Ability to communicate complex situations and status to home
office.



DUTIES WHILE NOT TRAVELING:

* Intercept and log incoming customer issues as cases coming to
Customer Support via Phone and E-mail, then provide assistance and
resolution.
* Help update Knowledgebase with new findings.
* Escalate unsolved cases to Tier II Support for resolution. Once
resolved, contact customers as required to pass case resolution, then
document and close the case.
* Perform duties as requested by the Client Relations Coordinator,
Customer Services Manager and TouchStar management.
* Continuously develop and improve technical knowledge and
customer service skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Sales Account Executive (AE) is responsible for an
assigned sales quota. The Account Executive will be expected to master
a detailed understanding of the TouchStar Products & Services. The AE
will be responsible for becoming a specialist in one or more specific
industries that are targeted by TouchStar.



The AE is responsible for using a consultative sales approach to
discover and analyze customer requirements through telephone
conversations with prospective customers to determine if TouchStar is
the right fit for their needs and which product features are required to
meet the customer's needs.



The AE must have an understanding or be able to quickly and easily learn
technical terminology and concepts such as hardware platforms,
databases, data and voice connectivity, telephony, etc.



The AE must be able to communicate product benefits to the customer
based on an understanding of the customer's business and requirements.
The AE will prepare pricing and proposals for prospective customers, as
well as provide detailed demos of the TouchStar product over the
Internet or in person.



The AE must be able to answer most of the technical questions posed by
the prospective customer, but also must effectively use the TS Sales
Engineer when necessary.



The AE is responsible for setting up site visits as necessary for the
prospective customer to meet with an existing customer. Travel to the
customer's location may be required to meet critical steps in the sales
process.



The AE is responsible for preparing sales contracts, including hardware
configurations and entering all customer information into the sales
database.



This position consists of:

* 80 percent telephone sales
* 20 percent in-person sales w/national travel
* Travel to several industry trade shows/conferences each year
