The Quality Assurance Engineer II performs moderately complex
testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing to assure
that developed products meet design specifications and are within
total quality management limits and standards. May also spend a
significant amount of time in performance testing using automated
testing tools. The incumbent communicates with product developers
and technical support specialists on product issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.

*Tests alpha and beta versions of clients products;
*Create and/or execute functional, application, regression and
performance tests using Segue SilkPerformer. May also playback the
test scripts using SilkPerformer, analyze the results of those tests
and make recommendations for performance improvement of the software
product being tested;
*Researches and develops an understanding of the marketing
requirements for the product features being tested. Including how
the users use the features and their performance requirements for
the features;
*Sets up test plans and test cases for assigned modules, builds test
scenarios and automates tests under the direction of more senior
analysts;
*Investigates and resolves technical issues in the testing process
such as identifying data issues through SQL queries and communicate
issues with various departments;
*Creates test plans and test cases using technical specifications.
Test cases as end user, as well as perform back end data validation
to ensure usability;
*Performs risk analysis through reports given to the Information
Technology team to determine what risks are associated with code
releases;
*Performs database verification, SQL queries to verify products;
*Keeps record of test progress and results and reports progress to
QA Manager and project team on a weekly basis;
*Writes test plans and regression plans for all areas of the system;
may also test projects that originate from the IT department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma required Bachelors degree in Computer Science
preferred with two (2) to three (3) years end user web experience
and/or three (3) to five (5) years of testing experience required
or, equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the
essential duties of the job.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

*Required: general understanding of the QA process and QA testing.
Ability to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules.
Basic experience or knowledge in the following; IE; Windows NT; QA
Documentation; Mac OS; Netscape;
*Preferred: understanding and experience using automated testing
tools; reporting; load/regression testing tools; knowledge of web
functionality and web related languages (HTML, XML, ASP.NET); web
development; software development life cycle; Active Directory,
JavaScript, VB 6.0, Segue SilkPerformer, SQL, Database Concepts;
*Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS
Excel, Visio, MS Access;
*Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation;
*Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently;
*Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written
and verbal), and interpersonal skills;

Job Summary:
As a Lead Data Warehouse Software Engineer you will provide technical direction setting for a team, produce architectural plans and designs, and work with other Lead Software Engineers to ensure that solutions fit the company standards and goals. You will provide hands-on technical contributions to development efforts, including the analysis, design, programming and programmer testing on enhancements and software development projects. You will provide maintenance and support for existing software applications.

Responsibilities:
• • Establish standards for ETL Design, development, implementation and support.
• Contribute to architecture and approach to maintain consistency and standardization within the business intelligence environment.

• Interacting with customers to verify and clarify requirements and design decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:
• • 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications.
• Solid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologies
• 3+ years experience with Informatica
• Experience with PL/SQL(Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages)
