2 Software Testers - Automated Testing (Windows Forms)

Description:

The Software Test Engineer-Automated Testing (Windows Forms) will work on a team responsible for full lifecycle testing of ZOLL's Windows Forms based applications.  In this role, this individual will help to develop processes and procedures to further the company's capabilities in automated testing and to help to move the company from a manual testing to an automated testing environment.  This person will be responsible for testing all layers of an n-tiered Microsoft based suite of applications.

Duties:

 Read and interpret functional (marketing) and technical (development) specifications and develop comprehensive test plans designed to perform functional and load testing.  Functional testing should include edge and routine cases, data entry error, program logic errors, exceptions, etc.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot automated test scripts using automated test tools to validate the technical and functional integrity of Windows applications.  This will include stored procedures, services, and Windows Forms applications.
Configure test environments including Microsoft servers, MS SQL, and application installations.  Configurations may include medical devices and communications devices such as serial modems, heart monitors, and other devices.
 Run and monitor test scripts on test environment.  Interpret the resulting error logs and other output results. Troubleshoot results to determine if the error is an engineering error or an error in the test script and/or database utilizing MS SQL and other data query tools.
Assist with manually testing applications until automated test coverage is adequate.
Collaborate as a member of a highly functional R&D team to perform testing on multiple applications and move from application team to application team as necessary.
 Adhere to professional standards regarding documentation, project management, quality, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

 5+ years of experience performing Software Quality Assurance (SQA) work in a software development organization.
 Ability to read and interpret professional, documented .NET code.
 Ability to develop test scripts at a highly proficient level including tools such as C#, QTP, TestComplete, Ranorex, Rational Robot, or CodedUI.
 Demonstrated success with full lifecycle Quality Engineering including test plan design and error log troubleshooting.
 Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science highly desirable.

Summary:
The (3) .NET Engineers/Software Developers will participate in developing various quality SaaS applications that will share a common database in a collaborative team environment.  The engineers will work through the entire lifecycle and will require in-depth understanding of industry best practices with emerging technologies.

Position Summary:
As a member of the IT team, the Systems Administrator will be able to work on a variety of projects.  Responsibilities will include internal support for ZOLL systems as well as remote installs of ZOLL RescueNet products at customer sites. The Systems Administrator will manage the IT infrastructure in ZOLL's corporate office in Broomfield, Colorado including technical support for employee computers and management of corporate server systems. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will manage the system configuration process within remote client environments.  This would include conducting scope calls to review hardware, software and networking requirements, reviewing hardware configurations, discussing implementation strategy, and the remote installation of RescueNet products.

Some specific responsibilities in this role include:

Summary

Assist the Manager of Accounts Receivable with both the daily Oracle AR operations and with the investigation/analysis of system and process issues/anomalies. Prepare accurate and reliable AR information, processing AR transactions and master data in an accurate, complete, and timely manner. Responsible for specific AR-centric reporting functions such as the Schools and Libraries Program and unclaimed property. Maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations via online system.
Essential Duties

* Assist Manager with documentation of receipt processes and systems for credit cards, ACHs, wires, check lockboxes, bank clearing houses, and customer portal payments.

* Prepare Blackline general ledger reconciliations for the accounts receivable sub-ledger GL accounts and other accounts as assigned.

* Provide testing and training support for Oracle Accounts Receivable module releases and enhancements.

* Maintain files and worksheets for customer reimbursement programs such as the ERATE schools and libraries program and assists the Manager with program administration. Calculate and process customer credit memos or payments. Contacts customers as needed for credit research.

* Support the AR team with daily management of the departmental mailbox including task routing, customer record maintenance and routing follow up.

* Prepare accounts receivable receipts, applications, credit memos, refunds and intercompany activities as needed to support global cash receipts processes.

* Assist the manager with the unclaimed property process including state regulation research, credit research, maintenance of unclaimed property files, dormancy notification letters/responses and state filings.

Verizon - Systems Engineer

This position is for an experienced and talented IT person that can be a business leader in our organization. We are looking for a person that that can help us lead Verizon E2Ei VOIP projects overall across pre-sales, post sales, Billing and Service assurance domains and not just IT systems. National Ecological Observatory Network - Software Engineer

Overview
The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is a $430 million dollar observatory project dedicated to understanding how changes in climate, land use and invasive species impact ecology.  For the next three decades NEON will collect a comprehensive range of ecological data on a continental scale across 20 eco-climatic domains representing US ecosystems.  NEON will use cutting edge technology including an airborne observation platform that will capture images of regional landscapes and vegetation; mobile, re-locatable, and fixed data collection sites with automated ground sensors to monitor soil and atmosphere; and trained field crews who will observe and sample populations of diverse organisms and collect soil and water data.  A leading edge cyber-infrastructure will calibrate, store and publish this information.  The Observatory will grow to 300+ personnel and will be the first of its kind designed to detect and enable forecasting of ecological change at continental scales.

Summary:
The Software Engineer-Mobile Applications Development will develop, create and maintain innovative mobile applications that integrate with existing Cyber Infrastructure application and systems solutions for Continental Scale environmental data. This position reports to the Director Computing of the Cyber Infrastructure (CI) team.

Term:
This is a 3 year term position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Coordinate and collaborate CI team to identify and develop software for use within various NEON Cyber Infrastructure subsystems.

software QA professional, you will help establish  the processes, test
criteria, plan and execution of our QA methodology.  In your spare time,

training material and user documentation.

How you'll spend your day:

    * Ensuring that testing activities will allow applications to meet
business requirements and system goals.
    * Reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of
existing systems
    * Developing test strategies for improving or leveraging our systems
    * Establishment  and execution of testing methods for new
applications, products, and/or  enhancements throughout their
development lifecycles.
    * Creation of testing techniques that will help us deliver high
performance software.
    * Analyzing  formal test results in order to discover and resolve
defects, bugs,  errors, configuration issues, and interoperability
flaws.
    * Producing reports or other documentation for all testing efforts,
results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
    * Communicating  test progress, results, and other relevant
information to project  stakeholders and management during SCRUM
meetings

    * B.S./B.A. and 2 years of SaaS application testing experience

Position Responsibilities

This position is responsible for overseeing the Enterprise Linux and Oracle IT environment, providing consistent end-to-end operations services of the highest level (hardware and software) in accordance with company standards. This position will work in the capacity of an intermediate system administrator, assisting in the designing and monitoring all aspects of the company's Linux and Oracle services. This is an operations position which will include project work, evaluating requests from local administrators and project managers identifying and providing solutions to applications and/or systems problems.

•Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

•Installation, configuration and ongoing system administration maintenance of x86 Linux and Windows 2008 environments

•Responsible for the planning, testing, tuning, configuration and setup of the Oracle Enterprise Linux / OVM environment, as well as supporting common applications.

•Assists in solving production problems in a timely manner, including off hours and weekend support when necessary.

•Ensure OS, Database, and application availability, security, consistency and overall functionality.

•Schedule, lead and participate in weekend maintenance activities, as required.

•Installs and maintains hardware, OS and database software including complex patches, updates, upgrades and maintaining database licenses and vendor support agreements.

•Complies with all change management policies and directives, leading audits, mitigations and service strategy development.

Required Skills & Experience
