LogRhythm - Software Engineer

Overview:

LogRhythm is seeking a Product Owner to join the LogRhythm team
at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado.  As a member of the
software engineering team, you will support the definition of new
features and product enhancements for our products.  Successful
candidates are those who define product requirements utilizing a
big picture product view but at the same time diligently attend
to detail.  This person serves as the conduit between customers,

Responsibilities:
    * Work closely with  engineering, product management, sales,

features

cost/schedule.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

    * Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical requirements or
product management role for a software based  enterprise product
    * Minimum 5 years in the software development/product industry
    * Experienced in writing  detailed product requirements
    * Technical knowledge of a subset of the  following: software
technologies (C#, Java, C++), user interface technologies (web,
mobile, rich client) , windows, Unix,  database  (NoSQL, SQL),
Internet/network  technologies, information security,  high
availability/redundancy, hardware platforms, virtualization, and
SOA
    * Experienced managing technical aspects of OEM and strategic
partner relationships
    * Strong negotiation skills with aptitude to manage

Summary

Job Description
The business analyst is responsible for working with ULA's Engineering Solutions Leader to foster a positive relationship between IT and engineering in serving a dual purpose of supporting EDDS and other legacy Delta applications and the migration of the heritage data into the Teamcenter application as guided by the E*ECCM project.​

Major Areas of Accountability:
Work with the development team from a technical standpoint to become familiar with the EDDS process, EDDS changes and potentially Accent R development.​
Support EDDS reporting requests
EO approval cycle
Support the long range enterprise PLM initiative
Modify EDDS Oracle views
Support migration of data into Team center

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science or 8 years Information Technology (IT) or Information Systems (IS) experience may be used to satisfy the bachelor degree
5 years development experience
3 years experience with Java development frameworks
3 years database /​ SQL experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a team of developers contributing to technical direction, capturing business requirements, and decomposition of requirements into manageable tasks in a conventional project environment
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Be able to learn and understand complex legacy programming environments
Be able to work in a team environment to understand and support legacy applications migrating into Team center
General understanding and belief in agile and test driven development
Data conversion experience.​
Development experience with XML.​
Demonstrable experienced at testing, building and deploying software.​
Experience with Eclipse
Experience in providing integration between technical & business teams throughout the Systems Design Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering and documentation, functional specifications, design, test, & deployment.​
Experience with effective configuration and adaptation of Teamcenter development and production workflows
Experience with configuring business data and organizational process models using Business Modeler IDE
Experience defining and optimizing methodologies to implement new functionality with an existing development environment.​
Technical Disaster and Recovery planning/​testing
Experience with programming best practices

 *  Performs more comprehensive analysis and design for program changes to gain and to transfer knowledge of application changes.  Reviews and provides input to requirements documents.  Writes design documents (e.g. SRS, SDD).

Qualifications

A minimum of three years related experience and a bachelor's degree is required. Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience.  Experience using one or more programming languages is preferred.
