Zed USA, formerly 9 Squared, has a full-time opportunity for a Systems
Administrator I- Phone support Specialist in downtown Denver

JOB SUMMARY:

This Position is responsible for overall support and administration of
all mobile devices.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



v Responsible for all phone inventory (including all SIM cards).

v Acquiring all new devices for all projects for ZedUSA, this includes
maintaining a Business carrier relation and dealing with carrier sales
reps to acquire new devices and negotiating prices and plans and making
warranty claims.

v Company phone bill review for all carriers

v Tracking of all company phone numbers used for development and
testing. (including moving numbers to devices as needed)

v Enforcement of the Phone Check-in and Check-out policies.

v Tracking of in-house and loaned development phones and return to
carriers after end of development.

v Phone programming and loading company software on phones. Familiarity
with XML.

v Knowledge of Zed USA's current Asset management system and ability to
conduct random inventory audits.

v Manages the test phone number list and ensures each group has enough
numbers to do development on and determines where numbers can be swapped
from.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Manages technical and business phone relationship with
carriers and manufacturers to keep handsets up to date. This includes
but not limited to

o Flashing and/or repairing phones by taking them to stores.

o Knowledge of device firmware and ability to determine what firmware
is on a particular device

o Arranging service for carriers not in Colorado (like MetroPCS and/or
the Latin Carriers)

o Knowledge of new devices in the market.





* Debugs handset/driver issues so that testers/developers can
focus on different projects when the phone is not cooperating.

o Knows all of the number programming instructions for all handsets
and knows what programming instruction goes with what handsets.

o Knows what drivers each handset requires to run on a new computer.

o Knows what PID (phone ID used by Qualcomm and NSTL) each handset has
and what BREW and firmware versions our handsets have and which ones
NSTL is testing with and sends them to be flash when they are not "close
enough".

o Knows which PIDs are grandfathered together (similar enough to only
require 1 build) and when new builds do not have to be created.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

v At least an Associate Degree or High School with 2-3 Years of
experience in Wireless Phone support, Familiarity with mobile devices.
We are basically looking for someone who can take care of everything
having to do with Cell phones for Zed USA.

v Previous Mobile Phone support experience and Asset management
software experience will be a plus.



This position also requires some job elements that are moderately
difficult; it requires the person to be a self starter and multi-tasker,
and requires the person to work under pressure.

Zed USA, formerly 9 Squared, has a full-time opportunity for a Software
Test II in downtown Denver JOB SUMMARY:

Execute test cases and scripts for manual software testing. Ability to
follow a test plan, and the ability to document defects found during
testing. Ability to create test plans, test cases and create process
documentation from Business Requirement documents as well as other
documentation.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



* Manual Software Testing

* Defect Reporting

* Risk Identification

* Documentation



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Influence the training of future employees by providing
feedback to department management.

* Required to perform training of new employees as well
as other individuals.

* Possess some authority in the training process and the
results of the employee training.

* Communicate with all internal company resources
including peers, management and executive management. This position will
communicate mostly with internal positions.

* Understand the software development life cycle and be
able to identify Quality Assurance's role within that process.

* Responsible to lead the testing effort on new projects
as well as identify risks and areas of improvement for each project.

* Required to communicate difficult topics to internal
departments and will need to have good communication skills and
techniques.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : High School Diploma is Required. Some College or Degree is
preferred



Experience: At least 1 full year of manual testing experience. 2-4 years
experience preferred



Skill: Manual testing skills, good troubleshooting skills. Ability to
take direction, ability to understand testing methodologies and
processes. Strong ability to create department documentation. Must have
leadership qualities.
