Contract Oracle DBA in DTC area - might need 2
Rate is DOE but must be 1099 or corp-to-corp
Duration is open ended

The requirements are as follows:
1.What ( Oracle)versions and platform( Solaris/AIX/Linux)?
Oracle 8.1.7.4, 9.2.0.x & 10.2.0.4 running on HP-UX & RedHat Linux 4.
2.Is there anything like RAC for standby servers?
Yes, we are running RAC on the RedHat Servers for Oracle HRMS application.
All others are single instances.
3.what are tools like rman for backup and recovery or OEM for monitoring or
10G grid?
are using RMAN with Veritas Netbackup. We use OEM, Toad & custom scripts for
monitoring.
4.What are secondary skills required in addition to the core ORACLE DBA
work?
Oracle eBusiness suite administration, PeopleSoft & Siebel admin knowledge.
Korn shell scripting, perl, Unix system administration skills (HP-UX,
Solaris, Linux)
