We are seeking a Graphic Designer for our client's Program Support
office. This is a 6 month+ (40 hrs/week) project. We are looking for
an individual to perform tasks such as: completion of graphic design
projects under general guidance, work on designs and production of
communication products, both print and electronic. Someone that can
collaborate with, and support, other designers and communicators.
Have the ability to balances multiple projects, priorities, and
deadlines. They will also need to track and bill time to clients.
Duties shall include, but not limited to:
• Prepare and modify print products such as logo's letterhead, fact
sheets, and brochures
• Prepare PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, PPT template updates, and
PPT charts and graphs
• Create quick turn-around charts, graphs, and posters using InDesign
• Prepare and size graphics for Web sites
• Prepare, print, and mount conference posters, convert PPT slides to
posters
• Locate, convert, scan, and enhance images
• PDF conversions and coping DVD's
• Retrieve and archive files for completed graphics projects
Skills required:
• Demonstrated skills in graphic design principles and practices
• Apple Mac hardware, operating system, and software skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite design tools
• MS PowerPoint skills, creation of graphics for PPT slides
• Customer relations and project management skills
Experience
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Associate's degree in graphic design, visual arts, other related
discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
