Webroot is currently seeking a Software Development Manager for the
following role:
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a team of Software Developers
* Manage project schedules and drive team toward schedule while
ensuring high quality deliverables
* Participate in and lead Architecture, Design, and
Implementation
* Work closely with Product Management team to help define
requirements
* Work closely with Support team to address escalated customer
issues
* Work closely with Quality Assurance Team to ensure high
quality releases
* Produce technical product documentation and direct team to
produce documentation
* Manage and define source code branching schemes
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 10+ years overall experience in Software Development
* 5+ years managing teams of 10+ Software Developers
* 5+ years C++ development experience
* 5+ years Windows (Win32) development experience
* Prior experience managing geographically distributed teams
* Experience with .NET/C#
* Experience and understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience delivering consumer desktop software
products
* Experience developing or managing UI-based software
* Agile Development Process experience
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience with Security Products
* Previous experience with Java
* AJAX and/or Web Development experience
