Louisville Desktop Support Technician

We have a contract to hire position as a Desktop Support Technician
for our client in Louisville.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for corporate I.T. environments: desktop operating
systems, desktop and some server-level applications, VPN
configuration, and other duties associated with support for internal
users.
Requirements:
Current Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in a desktop operating
system or desktop application is preferred. Microsoft Certified
Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) status is highly desirable. A
basic understanding of network functions (DHCP, DNS, etc.) and some
command-line tools (tracert, ipconfig, etc.) is desirable. Position
will include some off-hours or weekend work and will require 24x7 on-
call status. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. of computer
equipment or components. Must have excellent communications and
customer support skills. 1-3 years experience in a direct support
role in a Windows-based environment.
