Cobank - Business Analyst

Provides first line support to users of Operation’s systems. Performs impact analysis, gathers and documents requirements, documents test plans, performs user acceptance testing, documents changes to workflow and procedures, delivers training, and provides post-implementation support for Operation’s system enhancements and upgrades. Performs complex analysis and makes recommendations for Operations process improvements.

Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, accounting or relevant discipline and
2-4 years experience with impact analysis, requirements gathering, and
User acceptance testing for software development, or
Experience using commercial loan accounting, wire transfer, and other loan operations applications; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Ability to design and implement process improvements, evaluate issues, identify possible solutions and negotiate resolution with stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Reserve compensation rules, loan documentation, terms, and terminology preferred.
Basic understanding of program management concepts, project management and implementation techniques, process re-engineering and change management preferred.
Basic knowledge or experience in servicing and accounting for syndicate, participation, leasing and other loan instruments and the pertinent accounting issues preferred.
Intermediate experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, reporting and flowcharting applications.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Other Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required.
