We are looking to hire several Technical Support Engineers in our Broomfield location. These positions are required to support our Federal Government client base, and be responsible for client support and product troubleshooting on both our Server and Desktop based products. Note that for immediate positions, we require people to work the *graveyard shift*.

What skills make you a great fit?

1. Strong command line knowledge within Linux/Unix and Windows
2. Previous exposure to either our server or desktop based product sets
3. Strong troubleshooting ability, combined with demonstrated resourcefulness and desire to solve complex technical issues!

Position Description:

Working under minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude, provides technical expertise in developing solutions to complex software engineering problems, which require frequent use of ingenuity and creativity. Provides work leadership to others. Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction. Assignments may include new products as well as upgrades, and enhancements or fixes to existing products.

* May be accountable for overall product and/or serve as a customer advocate, may represent organization as principal customer contact
* Collaborates well with other engineers and other engineering groups, voluntarily shares information
* Offers proposed design changes/suggestions to processes and products, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment
* Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction
* Writes functional detailed design specs as well as responding to requirement documents and system level test plans
* Significant contributor to organizational goals and objectives
* Interacts cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines

Competencies:

* Distributed and object oriented software architecture and design, including definition, documentation and dissemination
* Ability to facilitate group problem solving
* Experience in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, code, test and integration in C++, C#/.NET & Java and have a good understanding of object oriented software development
* Highly motivated individual with a strong background in commercial product development is required
* Python
* Agile/ SCRUM development
* Test Driven Development
* Knowledge of Architecture and Design Patterns
* Continuous Integration
* Experience developing using meta-models highly desirable
* Experience with XML technologies, including XML, XML Schema, XSLT and XQuery

* Strong Virtualization experience preferred
* Strong UNIX experience preferred
