Contract - Content Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Will focus on ensuring data cleansing projects meet defined standards
for quality by reviewing data files and utilizing internal tools to
detect and correct errors. Will work with Excel, Access and a
proprietary data cleansing application to review data in various stages
of cleansing. Individual will be required to be a significant
contributor to process improvement and automation of the data cleansing
and QA process.



Will also be responsible for leading the development of data standards,
and will bear final responsibility for assuring that all data in the GHX
system is of high quality, complete, and accurate.



Will assist in defining data management tool requirements, and will
document bugs and enhancement requests. In addition, will be
responsible for assisting Medical Analysts as required, either directly
or through supervision, to cleanse, standardize, and match customer data
and in expanding the attribution and categorization of the GHX standard
databases.



Principle duties and responsibilities:

* Acts as the primary resource for the QA process.

* Runs internal tools to identify errors and make corrections to
the data as needed.

* Proactively works with the Content Team technical resources to
implement new features in the data-cleansing tool to ensure quality is
enforced, and to speed up the rate of the QA review process.

* Works with content partners to assist with the QA Process.

* Performs training for external team members, participates in
regular conference calls, and communicates one-on-one with partners to
ensure QA tasks are being performed according to GHX standards.

* Works in conjunction with the QA Manager to document quality
issues, and participates in meetings to define changes to the processes
or tools to help resolve these issues.

* Assists in developing data management best practices.

* Develops rules for automated data processing and QA.

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

* Well-developed medical products knowledge.

* Data management application QA, bug and enhancement reporting,
requirements and use-case definition experience.

* Ability to present innovative, creative ideas are expected on
a regular basis.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, or related discipline or
equivalent experience required.

* Minimum 2 years' experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data
Management, Healthcare purchasing, or medical product knowledge.

* Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership and
responsibility.

* Detail-orientation, with keen sense of detail.

* Ability to provide high throughput with high quality.

* Intelligent, logical thinker with strong problem solving
skills.

* Flexible and enthusiastic with a strong team player focus.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

* Must be able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.

* Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access and Web tools.
SQL skills a plus.
