What You Offer:
We are seeking an engineer with strong SQL skills and with familiarity in C++ or other object oriented programming languages to work onsite with our rapidly growing company. Knowledge of Financial Markets and/or Financial Data preferred, but not required. Jr. to mid-level C++ skills, object-oriented programming, .NET development, Microsoft SQL Server, client-server systems, and multi-threaded systems experience preferred. Knowledge of relational databases and experience writing SQL stored procedures a must. Experience with building, packaging, installing, and maintaining deployed systems a plus. Experience in customer-facing environments a plus. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects, good verbal and written communication skills essential. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, 2-5 years of relevant experience.

What You Offer
Solid proven experience working in High Availability multi Data Center environments consisting of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 Operating Systems, VMware 3.5 or better, SAN Administration on large scale systems consisting of hundreds of Terabytes of storage and Microsoft SQL Database clustering.
The proven ability to architect new data center approaches and solutions that would be integrated into multiple high availability environments. Experience identifying and addressing system capacity and optimization based on expected traffic peak demands. Exposure and experience with Scripting, Automation tools and Red Hat Linux. Researches vendor options and may make recommendations regarding vendor service relationships. Participates in purchasing decisions and/or recommendations regarding technology and tools.
Readily identify core problems and applies problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems, often under tight time constraints. Technical guidance is received from peers and higher level staff only on unusual or very complex projects. Perform advanced administrative tasks and provide formal or informal training in assigned areas.
May lead project teams and provide functional and/or administrative supervision for assigned staff. Provide direct user support with backup from higher level staff. Client calls for production operations specific issues. Participate in project teams. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: 5 to 7 years systems administration / engineering in a High Availability Data Center environment.

* Experience with a scripting language like Javascript/Jscript or Perl
o Either classroom or on the job experience writing and running script code
