SUMMARY
Design, enhancement and maintenance of software applications.
JOB DUTIES
* Design and coding of applications following specifications using DataStage and WTX tools
* Maintain and modify extracts and loads using C++ and Java
* Data mapping using DataStage
* Perform maintenance programming
* Perform custom programming based on customer requests
* Conduct unit tests of new and modified applications
* Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards
* Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
* Ability to interface with professional service staff and other non-technical members of the organization
* Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
* Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of C/C++ and Java experience in a UNIX environment
- 2+ years of SQL development experience using Oracle and/or SQL Server
- 1+ years of experience with ETL processes is a plus
- 1+ years of experience with Perl and/or UNIX Shell Scripting is a plus
- Data modeling and development tool experience is a plus

SUMMARY
Maintains and modifies existing SharePoint software solutions. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs both new programs/technologies and changes to existing programs/technologies of a complex nature. Provides continuing technical support and makes the most efficient use of available software. Provides support in the solution of operating problems involving software. Develops and secures acceptance for standards and common procedures. Develops and performs unit testing and documentation of all new and modified software. Works in concert with Operations staff to automate all standard processes. Is able to work under general supervision. Works with representatives of other departments to pinpoint problems and determine specific solutions/requirements.

* Assumes responsibility for ongoing architecture for the product.
* Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
* Ability to interface well with Professional Service staff and other non-technical members of the organization

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years experience developing SharePoint solutions.
- 3-5 years experience with Windows SharePoint Services (MOSS).
- 3 years min, experience with SharePoint development, administration and content management.
- 3 years min, experience with SharePoint web part development as well as ASP.NET
- 3+ years experience with C#.
- Experience with SharePoint content types.
- Oracle database experience. (Required)
- Experience with SharePoint command line admin tools.
- Strong web UI design skills.
- Experience with SharePoint master pages and page layouts.
- 2-3 years experience with SharePoint Designer 2007 and Visual Studio 2008.
- Experience with SharePoint content types.
- Oracle database experience.
- Experience with SharePoint command line admin tools.
- Min. 2 years C/C++, UNIX – Preferred
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/​SQL
