Primary Duties: Member of a global team responsible for Software Quality Assurance (testing and verification) and configuration management of an internet/web-based telematics solution for the construction industry.
The primary duties include:
• Creation and maintenance of an automation infrastructure to support UI automation, performance testing and load/stress testing.
• Creation, execution and maintenance of automated test scripts for the validation of requirements, verification of new features, enhancements and bug fixes, performance, and load/stress testing
• Promoting best practices within our development teams to ensure quality is central • While doing the above, working with integrated sub-systems and mobile devices, as well as distributed software, firmware, hardware and quality engineering teams. Position Requirements: (List characteristics, skills, and degrees preferred; years of experience required) Education requirements: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Experience requirements (years): Minimum of 5 years
Skills/experience required: • Significant experience with test automation • Regression, load and stress testing • Creation, maintenance and execution of test plans directly from requirements • Testing back-end systems without a GUI • Product testing background • Black box and white box testing • Microsoft development technologies: Visual Studio, .NET • Software development experience • Database (SQL) experience • Testing experience in a Windows environment • Good Oral and written communication skills • A true team player who is able to work with distributed teams in a fast paced environment
Skills/experience desired: • Experience in FLEX/RIATest is highly desired • Development using the C# language • Microsoft Team Foundation Server • Testing Device Gateways/building device simulators/building test tools would be a plus • Agile development methodologies • GIS and Geospatial applications
