Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Description:
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) works as a member of an
Agile Scrum team ensuring that all stories are tested to internal
standards. The SQAE works directly with the QA Manager and the Scrum
teams in creating the test strategy, test plan, and manages the test
plan execution and bug resolution within the Agile Scrum process.
Responsibilities:
• Be able to manage themselves and their time, and consistently
produce results within an Agile Scrum team.
• Be skilled in analyzing requirements and transforming them into
meaningful test cases.
• Be able to effectively execute test cases and communicate issues
to teammates.
• Be able to maintain details and stay organized in a
multi-tasking, time boxed environment.
Background Required:
• Agile w/ Scrum experience
• MS VS Test Edition
• TestComplete or other web UI test automation tools
• Solid SQL skills
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, DHTML and Java Script
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years in SQA, or 4+ years in SQA
• QA / Testing Certification preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and
accuracy
• E-commerce/internet/healthcare experiences a plus
