Summary:

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the testing of
applications and products within the Market Force system for every
environment within the Market Force organization.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Execute test cases against Client and Operational facing
software applications.
2. On-going ad hoc testing of applications.
3. Identify, analyze, and report application defects (e.g. detail
steps to reproduce expected. and actual results) and assist with
resolution.
4. Write and execute test plans, test cases and document results.
5. Verify that corrective actions meet quality objectives (e.g.
verify resolutions and close bugs).
6. Assist in administrating defect tracking tool.
7. Meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable for defined
tasks.
8. Document results of testing in a detailed and organized manner.





Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Must have attention to detail and be able to follow test cases
and checklists.
2. Ability to multitask in a fast, dynamic environment and maintain
a professional attitude with team members.
3. Able to work well independently.
4. Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
5. Experience writing scripts in VBScript, PERL, Python, Ant or
some other scripting language.

Qualifications:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform

Education/Experience:



1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience.

2. 1-3 years demonstrated technical experience



Computer Skills:

Proficient in the use and application of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook). Knowledge of various internet browsers
including, but not limited to, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Working knowledge of trouble
ticketing or bug tracking databases for reporting and managing defects.
