Broadridge - Technical Consultant

Broadridge writes the systems that power Wall Street. We are looking for a crack developer to join our team developing our industry-leading wealth management application. This role requires a pragmatic visionary who can translate business requirements into practicable solutions that scale both technologically and operationally. The ideal candidate with have experience leading development teams and have hands on experience architecting and delivering large-scale database applications. The work is database intensive with a focus on performance & tuning. In this senior role you'll acts as a principle architect, designer & lead developer; work with engineers and other cross functional teams like Product Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Operations, etc. to develop innovative solutions that deliver business functionality while maintaining performance, scalability, reliability, and realistic implementation schedules; without neglecting development goals and principles.

Qualifications:

The position requires 7+ years of Java and RDBMS development experience on high-volume, high-performance applications in a Unix environment. The candidate would also possess advanced database skills including SQL development and P&T, Sybase a plus. Familiarity with J2EE & web services is also desirable. Experience with Oracle is a plus too.
