Our engineering team is currently looking for a junior/mid-level C# developer to create custom financial charts for our clients. This job is a good match for programmers who are visually oriented and enjoy solving new presentation problems.
Duties include:
* Taking specifications from our design team and implementing them into charts.
* Supporting and enhancing the existing charting application code base.
* Maintaining our legacy JavaScript framework.
* Developing and improving solutions to problems both old and new.
Skills required
* The ability to work under tight deadlines and with attention to detail.
* The ability to work effectively with members of other teams.
* The ability to refine requirements and solve problems.
* The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
1 to 5 years of C# programming experience. Experience with WPF and/or JavaScript a plus, but not required.

Candidates must have previous experience implementing high volume fielded and free text searches using tools like Solr/Lucene or text mining to perform named entity recognition, document categorization using natural language processing. The candidates chosen will be motivated, able to think creatively and work independently, able to multitask, design, implement and troubleshoot complex systems.
This position is full time, onsite in Boulder, Colorado. The candidate must have solid C++ skills, object-oriented programming, multi-threaded systems experience, experience with SQL databases, XML technologies, document search, text-mining, natural language processing. Masters degree in Computer Science or higher preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with strong practical experience in search/text-mining/natural language processing will be considered. Candidates should have 4+ years of professional experience, and an interest in financial markets.

Position involves monitoring Production systems, troubleshooting SQL stored procedures, C++ and JavaScript.
