Education/Training: B.S. in Computer Science, CIS, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of production database administration experience with Oracle on Unix/Linux platform

Expected Contributions:
Provide sufficiently capable and consistent database functionality and support to ensure quality client implementations and development. Support databases and related components to maintain SLAs of all production systems.
Provide internal consulting to other departments on best practices in using the database in production environments. Assist Operations by diagnosing and ensuring timely resolution of database issues impacting service. Support project implementations to ensure quality on-time delivery.
Contribute to overall planning processes for database consolidation, scalability, and increased reliability. Implement optimal database performance by tuning databases, monitoring and tuning query performance, and helping developers write efficient queries.
Enhance and improve the efficiencies and processes of the Infonow DBA team with collaborative sharing of knowledge.
