SUMMARY AND JOB DUTIES
Monitor, manage and schedule all production jobs. This entails, re-running any failed jobs, deploying any new processes, and monitoring currently running processes. The Operations Technician will monitor all adjudication engines through an on-screen dashboard and escalate issues in the event of increased erred traffic. The Operations Technician will be the main production contact and will supply any requested files, logs, and configurations.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have these skills:
· Basic command line knowledge
· Great speaking skills
· Ability to read and understand basic KSH/Perl scripts
· Basic knowledge of scheduling jobs
· Must work well in stressful situations
· Be able to work on-call on a rotating schedule
· Have strong Boolean searching skills
Desired Skills:
· Shell scripting is a plus
· Working knowledge of Splunk
· Working knowledge of FTP
· Working knowledge of AIX, LINUX and UNIX
· Basic SQL skills
