GHX - Product Manager

Product Manager - Louisville, CO

Will evaluate business opportunities to define and optimize the EIPP (Electronic Invoicing Presentment and Payment) product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment.

Applies broad knowledge of GHX product capabilities and service offerings with in-depth analysis of market position to create and expand the portfolio of GHX products and solution alternatives.

Works cross-functionally with multiple GHX departments and business units to create products and validates early product definitions with customers.

Using technical expertise and industry experience, formulates product strategies and identify new product opportunities.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

* Investigates different technologies (both inside and outside the company), and considers how best applied to solve a given market problem.
* Monitors and analyzes how well a GHX product is performing, to include product profitability, actual to planned revenue, customer satisfaction, and market share.
* Reviews internal measurements to determine how the product impacts the company operations.
* Investigates areas of impact to product profitability, to include product life cycle, quality, technical support, marketing programs, and sales support.
* Gains understanding why recent evaluators of the product did or did not buy.
* Manages a group of products and services that meet marketing needs.
* Assesses the viability of the portfolio and how its components contribute to corporate strategy and distinctive competence. Manages the portfolio like a "product" (business case, positioning, sales process, market requirements, and marketing plan).
* Solves market problems using distinctive competence and creativity.
* Creates product roadmaps illustrating the vision for the product. Describes the idea or stereotypical users that represent the programming targets.
* Writes scenarios for user personas to describe instances of market problems or situations that illustrate why product requirement is necessary.
* Reviews the release plan with periodic checkpoints of progress in each of the operational groups.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or a combination of education and related experience.
* 5+ years Product Management experience, preferably with background in supply chain and/or complex collaboration applications.
* 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in healthcare. Some prior management and leadership experience, either leading dedicated teams or direct reports.
* 3+ years of experience working with EIPP (Electronic Invoicing Presentment and Payment) products and technology.
* Business acumen, wtih a strong understanding of accounting/financial principles.
* Highly adept at working collaboratively across multiple business and technical functions.
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to be self-directed with strong initiative.
* Sound project management skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
