Senior Oracle Database Architect Broomfield Colorado (Full-time)

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This individual will be a senior member of the Engineering staff
contributing to the day-to-day development of software. Provides
consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the
top level team contributor/specialist.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
** Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company
database[s].
** Provides technical support to project team members
** Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams,
provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
** Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions
including stored procedures
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications:
- 10+ years overall experience in Oracle database development and
architecture working primarily in a UNIX environment, preferably with
both Solaris and Linux experience.
- Extensive experience in Oracle database performance tuning and SQL
tuning.
- Hands-on experience with the architecture, design, and development
of large-volume transactional databases.
- Hands-on experience with the architecture, design, and development
of ETL and data warehousing.
- Proven ability to perform data modeling, logical and physical
database design and systems architecture.
- Strong knowledge of networking and enterprise systems architectures
- Strong UNIX shell scripting experience.
- Excellent problem solving capability.

- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet project
deadlines, and work under pressure.
