Join our talented team of ENVI (Environment for Visualizing Images)
Software Engineers and enhance our cutting-edge commercial image
analysis and visualization tools. We are looking for a
highly-motivated, self-directed individual who delivers results.
Although the emphasis for this position is a strong computer science
background and previous Java development experience, any experience
developing algorithms or applications for remote sensing, data ingest
and processing, image processing (image classification/feature
extraction) or data specific file readers/writers would be a strong
advantage. Minimal travel is required.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent development skills with proven proficiency in Java
* Experience with geospatial software and remote sensing needs
* Well-rounded software engineering background with experience in
the design and implementation of complex software solutions in a variety
of computing environments
* Proven experience with modern software engineering processes and
methodologies
* Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to
produce results in a team environment
* 4+ years of software design and development experience
* BA/BS or advance degree in Computer Science or other technical
discipline
