Due to our growth and leadership, we are currently seeking a Sr. ETL Developer to strengthen our IT Business Intelligence Reporting Team.

General Description:
The work involves defining and implementing standards for ETL in a new data warehouse environment. Additionally, this individual is responsible for ensuring that these standards are followed by other ETL developers and will participate in hands-on creation, tuning and testing of ETL, integration and data quality code. The role is critical to the success of the new data warehouse and therefore requires broad technical experience.


Duties/Responsibilities:
** Design, development, testing, implementation, and Tier 3 support of ETL and integration solutions
** Assist in establishing the foundation data warehouse stage and integration layers in production, test and development environments
** Conversion/Migration of legacy data into new systems
** Lead development of new data quality and data profiling routines to process external data
** Develop key integrations with external vendor systems
** Collaborate with team members to prototype, test, and debug code which will provide data for use in business reports
** Work directly with ETL vendor representatives to resolve ETL application errors
** Be the primary contact for other ETL developers; providing mentoring, technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions
** Manage overall ETL environment, including configuration management, releases, metadata, user administration and standards
** Write and maintain technical documentation describing standard processes which other developers must follow
** Other tasks as assigned

Education:
** Bachelor level in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Experience:
** Five or more years of hands-on experience with ETL Tools (such as Informatica or Oracle Warehouse Builder) in a fast-paced, technically-challenging data warehouse environment
** Excellent working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server environments
** Solid Unix experience; file system navigation, file manipulation, and file transfer protocols
** Thorough understanding of data warehouse data models and concepts
** Excellent SQL and data analysis skills
** Mentoring or leadership experience
** Must have the ability to work independently and within a team
** Data architecture and relational database design
** Understanding of standard development life cycle processes

Job description: Collect America is a dynamic fast paced and growing company whose goal is to establish a new, recognized standard of excellence in asset management through talented professionals. Collect America uses leading technology and tools in achieving this goal. We are undergoing rapid growth and rapid change. Currently we are seeking to re-platform our proprietary asset management software using leading edge tools and technologies, such as Java/J2EE SOA, WebServices running on an all Oracle stack. The web tier consists of Oracle**s WebCenter 11g product, their 10g SOA Suite (includes BPEL Process Manager, OC4J application server, BAM, and Oracle ESB). Some examples of what technologists at Collect America do include:
** Data mining to find patterns in usage or profiles of debtors
** Data Exchange with third party vendors to assist in locating difficult to find debtors
** Unix shell scripting to orchestrate existing Perl modules in programmatic asset movement through the system
** Java/J2EE and WebServices programming using Oracle**s SOA suite
** Re-engineering our existing business processes and human workflow using Oracle BPEL process manager
** Implementing real time reporting and dashboarding using Oracle**s BAM
** Statistical Analysis using SAS
** Portal programming, JSF and ADF programming using Oracle Webcenter 11g

Required Skills:
** 3+ years of full lifecyle development in an SOA environment
** 2+ years experience consuming and constructing Web Services
** 2+ years implementing Ajax;
** 2+ years active work with UML
** 2+ years active use of SOAP
** 3+ years active work with XML, WSDL and XSD
** 3+ years of full life cycle development in Java/J2EE

Experience with the following a plus:

Job description:
Java J2EE SOA Developer will be responsible for extracting business logic and use cases from existing application, facilitate in requirements gathering for ground up build of proprietary software, facilitate OOAD sessions and work within the agile methodology to deliver a cutting edge mission critical application. The candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, ability to solve critical issues with creative and innovative techniques. The candidate should have hands-on experience designing and implementing web services using Java in an SOA environment.
