Software Engineer - Lead Integrations Developer

Rally is investing in integrations with other third-party software
lifecycle management tools. We are interested in hiring a lead developer
who has broad responsibilities for building a technical team and
developing these applications, which will integrate with Rally's
enterprise Agile lifecycle management product using cutting-edge
technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Web Services.
An initial set of responsibilities would include:
* Work with the product owner to define, estimate, and prioritize
stories and release content.
* Help organize and gather feedback for alpha/beta releases with
customers
* Write integration code between third-party products and the
Rally enterprise Agile lifecycle management tool using JavaScript, Ajax
and JSON
* Build scalable integrations using Rally's Web Services interface
* Determine and build the automated testing strategy as well as
the testing infrastructure
* Work with new partners, new integrations and new technology on a
regular basis
* Build a team of software engineers to create and maintain Rally
integration products
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Experience building web pages with: Mashups, JavaScript, HTML,
CSS, and AJAX
* Experience using XML, SOAP, REST, and/or JSON Web Services
* Self-started and fast learner
* Possess superior problem solving skills with a proven ability to
exercise sound judgment to solve complex issues
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of source code management and automated build
management tools
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and fluid
environment
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 5+ years previous software development experience preferred
* Technical leadership experience is a plus

Customer Support Engineer-ON PREM - Software

Due to our success, we are seeking a Customer Support Engineer-On Prem
to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Works as part of a high performance team to promptly identify,
analyze and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues.
* Responds to customer requests regarding the Rally product and
Agile methodologies.
* Creates and delivers customer tool and methodology training.
* Delivers Agile best practices coaching.
* Advises customers on tool and methodology implementation.
* Coordinates internal resources to ensure customer success.
* Acts as a liaison between customers and product management to
ensure customer issues are resolved.
* Writes technical documentation.
* Participates in projects to improve support capability and
systems deployment.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Possess superior problem solving skills with a proven ability to
exercise sound judgment to solve complex issues, recognize business
critical situations and escalate as needed
* 2 + years previous customer software support required, ideally
supporting Web applications
* Interest in acquiring deep product and methodology expertise;
experience with Software Development, Requirements Management and/or
Agile methodologies a huge plus
* Understanding of TCP/IP
* Basic knowledge of FTP
* Ability to troubleshoot web browser technologies
* Java and .NET skills desired, understanding of Web Services with
SOAP and/or REST
* Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills in
leading meetings, trials and projects
* Experience with Linux and VMware a plus
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and fluid
environment
* History of outstanding customer service and customer advocacy
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field a
plus
