Director of Human Resources - Software

Due to our exponential growth we are seeking motivated Director of Human
Resources to join our organization.

Reporting to the CFO this position will execute organizational
strategies, programs and processes designed to support strategic goals
and operational objectives. The HR Director will be responsible for the
overall management of employment and retention, legal compliance,
employee development and training and compensation.


Responsibilities Include:


* Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR
strategic and operational plans.
* Responsible for developing and administering policies and
procedures. Clarify issues with managers and employees regarding
interpretation and compliance with policies and procedures associated
with personnel, benefits, etc.
* Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and
programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation. Manage
all facets of the recruiting process, including in-house contract
recruiters and relationships with external recruiting agencies.
* Ensure company is operating in accordance with all state and
federal employment laws in addition to maintaining knowledge of
multi-state corporation employment laws.
* Coordinate new employee set-up. Work in conjunction with hiring
manager to provide an overview of all benefit plans, policies,
procedures, etc.; conduct quarterly 401(k) enrollment meetings.
* Oversee salary administration policy with guidance from outside
consultant. Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits
programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective
performance.
* Develop and maintain affirmative action plans and monitor the
performance appraisal program.
* Prepare and maintain personnel files. Develop and conduct
routine employee terminations and exit interviews.
* Provide management with advice and assistance to ensure
effective employee relations.
* Investigate and respond to employee complaints.
* Benchmark HR practices in region with best practices and makes
recommendations for change.
* Other responsibilities as assigned.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:


* 15+ years of progressively responsible generalist experience,
including five years of management experience.
* A proven track record of building programs and consensus around
employee development, organization design and performance management in
a fast-paced, growing organization is required.
* As the sole, initial resource in this department, being
comfortable having both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
* Ability to anticipate issues across the corporation, recognize
opportunities and proactively develop responses.
* Strong organization and mentoring skills.
* Ability to communicate professionally, knowledgeably and
efficiently with a wide range of employees.
* Experience in a multi-state corporation highly desired.
* Strong computer skills.
* BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

* Masters Degree helpful. PHR/SPHR certificate preferred.
