What You Offer:
We are seeking a senior developer to build, enhance and maintain Markit Hub applications. The candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced, technology-based business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Understand business requirements
* Perform functional and technical design
* Coding of assigned modules
* Perform unit testing and integration testing
* Troubleshoot production issues
* Coordinate development tasks with remote team members
This position is a full time opportunity, working onsite in Boulder, Colorado. The candidate must have 5+ years of hands on coding experience in the technical areas listed below:
* HTML / DHTML, JavaScript, XSLT, AJAX , Java, JDK, Linux/Unix, shell scripts, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, RMI, JMS, Eclipse, Netbeans, CVS, SVN
* Java based frameworks like Spring, Struts
* SQL, Sybase
* OOAD, Design Patterns, UML
* GWT is a big plus
* Performance optimization (will be a plus)

Experience with object-oriented programming, the prototype inheritance pattern, and understanding of systems like DWR, Dojo, Prototype, RoR, jQuery, YUI. Technical and user experience contributions to site design, site architecture, and site production. Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
