Due to our success we are looking for a motivated Integration Developer.
Rally has been investing in creating an integrations and extensibility
strategy including 20 integration connectors, a platform toolkit, and
extensions to the core Rally application. In order to continue our
momentum, we are seeking an Integration Developer with broad experience
to help develop integrations to legacy systems, create mashups, and
contribute to our Web 2.0 platform strategy.
Responsibilities would include:
* Work with customers and product managers to define and scope
integrations
* Build scalable connectors using Rally's Web Service interface
* Develop mashups that run inside the Rally web app using HTML and
JavaScript
* Help sales engineers demonstrate and customers install integrations
* Help organize and gather feedback for alpha/beta releases with
customers
* Create infrastructure for ongoing build and automated testing of
integrations
* Work with new partners, new integrations, and new technology on a
regular basis
* Work on projects from 3rd party legacy integrations to cutting edge
integrations using Ajax & JSON
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Experience with several of the following languages: JavaScript,
Ruby, Java, or C#
* Experience using SOAP, REST, and/or JSON Web Services
* Experience with test automation and TDD
* Passion for helping customers succeed by delivering great code and
working with them to install software and resolve problems
* Knowledge of source code management and automated build management
tools
* Knowledge of Software Application Lifecycle Management tools such
as defect tracking, testing, or requirements management
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and fluid environment
* Experience with object oriented software design and refactoring
* Interest in working on many small/new projects at once
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 3 + years previous software development experience
