Description:
Design, build, test, and maintain web applications within the Vail Resorts internet platform. This position will be primarily involved in the design, development and evolution of Vail Resorts' .net internet platform framework as well as administration of Vail Resorts' SharePoint platform. Work to improve change control processes, quality processes, code repository standards and other development standards within VRI's technology ecosystem. Interface with, manage and periodically work as an embedded resource with VRI's various technology vendors.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience designing, developing and testing middle tier technologies including: .NET framework (through 3.0), SQL Server, and Content Management Applications
Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner.
Desire to learn SharePoint administration and development required.
Proven leader in driving change to improve development processes and standards.
Experience in multiple structured software development methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
Four-year college degree; focus on engineering, computer science or related work experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Desire to learn and evolve technology skill sets, patterns, and methodologies.
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and to work as part of a team.
SharePoint Webparts or Administration experience preferred
Passion for the travel industry, specifically skiing and snowboarding, preferred
