We are a successful and growing financial services company looking for Level III .Net Software Developers to join our Durango office (preferably) or our Denver Tech Center office to develop, test and maintain software applications.
Software Engineer III's are responsible for developing custom business applications in C#.NET, VB.NET, XML, and ASP.NET and / or SQL Server 2005 Development Tools, and for providing guidance and support to other Software Developers. He or she will analyze requirements, propose software design, instruct software developers on the proper methods of design, define standard database design, develop solutions, and provide support.
The Software Engineer III will set the standards for design and development of software. Developers are expected to function as part of Mercury's Software Development team and to help fellow team members to be more successful. All software developers contribute to the complete software lifecycle process: requirements gathering, design, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance. Our goal is to deliver timely and creative software solutions that enable Mercury to work more efficiently or add value to our partners.
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, SQL Server, Access, C#/ VB.NET.
* At least 5-8 years of professional software development experience
* At least 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft.NET development preferred.
* Understanding of an Agile Development with Scrum Methodologies.
* Excellent Troubleshooting, Listening and Problem Solving Skills.
* Experience with Visual Studio 2008/2010 and Team Foundation Server preferred.
* Able to work in a multi-task environment.
