The Technical Sales Engineer for Trimble Navigation, QuickPen Team, and Building Construction Division is responsible for supporting QuickPen CAD & MEP Total Station sales. This position reports to the Director of Sales at QuickPen International, Building Construction Division. This individual works in conjunction with Regional Sales Account Managers to coordinate customer support, road shows and product demonstrations and training. This position combines technical knowledge with sales skills which results in an aggressive growth of QuickPen CAD and MEP Total Station sales. This person has the technical knowledge, skill and positive attitude to perform high quality demonstrations for all QuickPen CAD & MEP Total Station Layout products. This team member operates as a key communication liaison with other members of the sales team and co-workers from a range of departments, such as research and development, marketing, product management, testing, educational services and senior company managers. Primary Responsibilities: • Technical presentations and demonstrations that persuade clients that our product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery • Provide onsite and web based training of customers on our product(s) functionality and usability • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, road shows, conferences and other marketing events • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to other sales team representatives • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts within the company • Searching for and establishing new clients who could benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential in designated regions • Maintaining existing, and long-term relationships with customers • Assisting in calculating client proposals as well as negotiating and closing sales by setting/agreeing on terms and conditions with Sales Regional Representatives • Offering post-sales support services • Updating & maintaining client contact data in company CRM software • Preparing reports for sales, product management, testing and other senior management • Coordinating sales projects • Creating and maintaining demo script and checklist for all CAD & MEP Total Station Products • Present a professional and positive company image at all times that models the company values Measures of Success: Primary tasks to be accomplished; outcomes desired in the first 6-12 months. Include how success will be measured. Competent in Trimble MEP Layout Products and QuickPen CAD Products. Complete 3S Sales Training Competent in demonstrating and training MEP Layout Products Competent in demonstrating QuickPen CAD Products Required Skills: Key skills and characteristics required for this position; i.e. minimum years of experience, degrees preferred, travel, and any physical requirements. • Key knowledge of Building Construction markets and applications. • Understands targeted customers and prospects for building construction (Mechanical , Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Electrical Estimating and Drafting, Site prep, Layout, and Asset Management) • Customer focused, understands sales supportive role in distribution, presentations and training. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to operate successfully within a matrix/multifunctional business organization. Bachelor Desgree plus 2-5 years experience in construction or related industry or the equivalent of. Travel 80% Must be able to carry 75 pounds of equipment, navigate construction sites and climb ladders. PRODUCT APPS Engineer-Westminster, CO-Trimble Navigation

Primary Duties: The product application engineer is responsible for articulating the requirements for the software interface from the Product Manager to the Engineering team within an Agile development environment. The product application engineer will work in a collaborative product marketing team that is tasked with identifying the "system" level needs as well as the detailed functional software requirements. Specific duties include: • Articulation of software level requirements from marketing to engineering for development. • Acts as a key team member of the marketing team that provides input and challenges assumptions regarding requirements and user stories. • Identify any additional challenges that the software solution might bring and collaborate with the marketing team on solutions to addressing those challenges. • Work closely with the R&D team in brain storming on how to address the requirements in the implementation stage of realizing the requirements • The successful candidate will be a strong leader and communicator in a quickly growing team
Position Requirements: • Education requirements: Bachelor degree in related field required • Experience requirements (years): 5y+ including software product marketing experience is a requirement. Experience in developing software that has a high degree of visual content (charts, dashboards) using complex underlying data is a plus. Experience in Agile development processes a plus. • Skill requirements: Ability to effectively articulate customer requirements in a balanced way that represents the needs of the business, passion for developing easy to use software, excellent analytical skills, creative thinker – identifies solutions not just problems, good communication skills, excellent presentation skills, track record of delivering high quality results on time, ability to work with extended team from different organizational cultures.
