We are currently recruiting for a professional developer interested in
learning and supporting an enterprise business workflow tool - Serena's
Business Mashups. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of
software development background in an structured enterprise IT
environment. Some experience with Visual Studio (Visual Basic) and Java
Script is required. Experience in developing work flow applications is a
plus. Ideal candidate will exhibit a desire to learn and support a new
product. The work will be performed in Lakewood, CO with less than 5%

A four year degree is required in either computer science or a related

We are currently interviewing Lead Computer Operator candidates for a
contract to hire position.



FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Operates and controls data processing to insure the orderly execution of
computer programs as needed by the clients. Responsible for all tasks
associated with monthly, daily or nightly operation schedules, including
documentation, verifies proper conclusion of assigned operational tasks.
Trouble shoots problems within operations to a reasonable conclusion.
Will be responsible for testing and training new employees and act as
lead when Supervisor of Operations is not available.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College degree in computer related field, Business, or
comparable work experience with professional certification.



EXPERIENCE:

* 6 plus years computer operations experience, preferably in
financial services

* Financial/Monetary/Retail transaction processing experience

* Shift lead/supervisory experience is a plus

* 24/7 data center mainframe operations

* Job scheduling applications (Appworx, etc.)

* Core banking solution software (OSI, etc)



SKILLS:

* Manual dexterity to input data on a keyboard i.e. computer,
calculator, telephone, also replace printer cartridges, and paper in
printers.

* Visual ability to interpret data from many different mediums,
including CRT/PC screens, data communications equipment, printers, and
other written documents.

* Communicating verbally, and in writing to all levels of
employees in the credit union.

* Physical ability to lift and carry supplies such as 20 - 30
pound boxes of paper, CRT's, PC's and printers.

* Ability to tactfully question or actively listen to employees
in person or on the phone to determine specific needs.

* Extremely high attention to detail

* Must be able to thrive in a high stress environment

* Process oriented - ability to follow defined processes and
procedures (experience with ISO 9000, SAS 70 or other process auditing
standards is a plus)

* Analytical skills - understanding cause and effect
relationships

* Must be self motivated and have a high need to strive for
perfection



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Proven understanding and execution of all steps in nightly,
weekly, and monthly procedures, including when steps should be performed
and why.

* Ensures that daily jobs are completed on a timely basis.

* Answers more complex user questions; problem solves; analyzes
and finds solutions.

* Identifies/repair possible hardware and software problems on
the system, this includes notifying proper technical or repair personnel
when needed.

* Provide training for new team members.

* Keeps daily, weekly and month end operation procedure manuals
up to date and accurate.

* Research, analyze, and find solutions to operations issues.

* Ensures that all assigned jobs are completed within assigned
service level, and verified for accuracy.

* Runs programs through input of data into a keyboard and
responding to questions on a visual monitor.

* Deliver reports.

* Ability to use the current escalation procedures to properly
notify OTS personnel of issues.

* Provides routine equipment maintenance, including replacing
paper and toner.

* Provides reliable and beneficial help desk support to users
throughout the organization.

* Keep up to date and accurate monitoring and operational logs
to ensure system stability.

* Responsible for logging all incoming calls into Asset
Navigator (Help Desk Software) in a way that is both clear and useful to
the person assigned to the call.



MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

* May perform minor repairs and regular maintenance of computer
equipment.



EQUIPMENT:

* Keyboard and visual monitor, printers, modems, copier,
telephone, personal computer, minicomputer, terminal servers for
networks, smart phone.



WORKING CONDITIONS:

* May work unsupervised and alone.

* Ability to work in a climate controlled environment
(temperatures from 60 to 70 degrees and humidity of 40 to 50%).

* Flexibility to work anytime during the day or night and
weekends as needed. Capability to work weekends and non-standard hours
as needed in the computer center.

* Physical ability to lift and move 20-30 pound boxes of paper,
computer terminals and printers.

* Ability to hear over heavy equipment noise. (I.e. loud air
conditioner, large computer).

* Ability to be on call during off-hours by cell phone.

* Ability to work extended hours with little or very short
notice

* Will work 12 hour shifts

* Highly visible environment with multiple deadlines, schedules
and critical commitments
