Senior .Net Developer - Grand Junction or Denver

Rocky Mountain Health Plans is seeking a seasoned .Net developer with a
genuine interest and passion for software development to join our team.
This position will be based out of our Grand Junction or Denver office
and will be responsible for developing and implementing critical
enterprise-wide windows and web applications using C#, VB .Net, SQL
Server, SharePoint and Sybase technologies. The Developer will be
responsible for interacting with customers and business analysts. The
Developer will identify, design and develop components that make up the
solution. A very strong background in object-oriented design and
development is required. This position will assist in strategic planning
and support of new industry trends as it relates to integration and
development. The position requires at least 5 years progressive
experience in .Net Development.





Education Requirements



* Requires a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a
combination of education and experience. Requires at least 6 years of
experience developing Web and Windows applications in an enterprise
environment based on Microsoft platform.



Requires at least 5 years experience and knowledge:



* Development in C# or VB.Net. Requires experience setting up
Distributed application infrastructure (e.g. Windows Server, IIS, SQL
Server, etc.)

* Experience with UML

* Experience with agile product development, process architecture.

* Solid understanding of object-oriented design and its
implementation in the .NET CLR

* Web Services

* Experience with advanced JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, and XML.
