Trimble's Virtual Site Solutions business is headquartered in Westminster, Colorado. It is a JV between Trimble and Caterpillar to bring to market a SaaS solution for GPS-enabled tracking and mobile asset and workforce management purposes.
Primary Duties: The Release Engineer will be responsible for internet/web application deployment and for maintaining a number of environments, systems, and services. Responsibilities include: - Build system, including CruiseControl and Team Foundation Server - Deploying and maintaining application software and data on various environments, including Development, Test, and Market Acceptance - Status of internal servers - Verifying all systems have appropriate data for development and testing - Source control management - Team Foundation Server administrator - SharePoint administrator
The Release Engineer will work closely with product management and engineering teams. Must possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion.
Education requirements: BS in engineering or computer science
Experience requirements (years): Minimum of 5 years
Skills required: Team Foundation Server, Cruise Control, MS Build, and deploying internet/web applications to Windows Server based environments.
Skills desired: SharePoint, C#, .NET, Service-Oriented Architectures, Relational databases, Agile development methodologies, GIS and Geospatial applications, Adobe FLEX, and web services based on WCF.
