Seeking an Information Technology Director in our Hosting
R&D/Architecture department to maintain and enhance the current-
state hosting architecture as well as design the future-state
hosting architecture and migration plan. This leadership role
requires an individual who has in-depth experience in development
lifecycle practices to promote the structured enhancement of
enterprise application delivery and technical operations. The
following technology architecture domains are in scope: Distributed
Computing, Enterprise Application Delivery, Enterprise
Infrastructure, Integration and Automation, Performance Management
and Efficiency, and Information Management. Strong presentation
skills are required to promote and evangelize hosting architecture
to Sr. management, customers and prospects. This practice will also
include network, voice, security, messaging, server platforms,
storage, desktop, and systems management.

The director must be strong in both technology and business
disciplines. It requires a pragmatic strategist who is able to
define enterprise hosting application, infrastructure, and platform
designs, as well as standards, focused on promoting enhanced
customer value, process automation and systems configuration. The
goal is to cost-effectively leverage technology to increase
efficiency, quality and scalability within the hosting center to
support enhanced business advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing a team of enterprise architects in the
maintenance of current-state architecture, development of future-
state architecture, and the application of hosting architecture to
customer specific requirements.
- Responsible for developing the next generation hosted platform as
the technology foundation of our hosted offers.
- Responsible for evaluating tools and making recommendations on
implementation strategies to leverage incremental value over time to
promote the continuous advancement of the hosting practice.
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the current-state
hosting architecture to support implementations, upgrades,
enterprise infrastructure and production technical operations.
- Responsible for defining the standard enterprise technology
architecture process, and for setting the associated policies,
standards, guidelines and governance within the hosting center.
- Responsible for delivering large-scale, multi-technology projects
that meet quality, time and budget requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, clear and measurable goals and
objectives and employee engagement strategies for employees in your
group.
- Prepare investment decisions based on detailed consideration of
business cases, changes to existing processes and IT skill sets.
- Promote and enable technology sharing and reuse. Define processes
and techniques to facilitate reuse of key technology services.
- Define hardened technology delivery patterns and processes that
accelerate deployment of new applications.
- Work with application teams to plan for changes to the technology
architecture based on mutually defined requirements.

Requirements:
- Bachelors & 12+ years of related exp with a large service
provider; healthcare exp desired
- Strong knowledge of enterprise scale distributed systems
including: high volume OLTP systems, high capacity batch systems,
consumer based web systems and integrated service oriented systems.
- Track record of IT architecture leadership from design to
implementation across domain areas with proven success with
implementations of major projects
- Experience in application architecture combined with
infrastructure architecture
- Ability to formulate vision and translate into tech solutions with
strong documentation
- Ability to engage senior mgmt, clients, and tech execs
- Able to mentor team members, build and lead teams
- Track record of delivering large-scale, multi-tech projects
- Excellent understanding of current IT trends and their impact
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Oversee internal and external audit projects and perform complex
process analysis based on internal process audits, SAS 70 Type II or
customer audit findings
- Collaborate closely with cross department team members, business
owners, and sponsors to develop and successfully implement process

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, Green Belt Six Sigma certification
- 4+ years experience in process analysis, internal IT auditing, or

- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate and
influence cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of SAS 70 and Sarbanes Oxley IT audit
- Excellent communication, customer service, conflict resolution,

- Manage and support hosted customers application and batch issues
identified during the life of an upgrade or implementation
- Work with the other hosting teams to assist with troubleshooting
