Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for multiple types UNIX environments
- Work on client incidents as assigned in TriZetto ticketing
software, review system logs and research as required
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and monthly maintenance
weekend activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, IBM AIX certification (Sun Solaris or Linux
certification a plus)
- 3-5 years of experience with AIX required; Solaris or Linux a plus
- Performance monitoring, capacity planning, problem determination,
shell script writing, Network Installation Manager (NIM), Cluster
Systems Manager (CSM), pSeries - LPAR configuration and support, IBM
Pseries system firmware updates, planning and implementing of
changes, HACMP configuration
- Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work without
significant levels of direct supervision
- Team player with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communications and customer service skills with the
ability to relay vital information to either technical or executive
level personnel

- Participate in planning sessions for long term growth of TriZetto
hosting environment
- Translate business requirements into technical designs to enhance
TriZetto hosting environment
- Influence long term technology strategy for TriZetto hosting
environment
- Examine and evaluate technology vendors and their
hardware/software for strategic solutions that fit into the hosting
operational framework
- Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for responsible area
of architecture
- Document strategy, functional, and detailed designs
- Provide technical leadership to project and support teams
- Provide tier 4 support to hosting organization
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience with a large service provider
- MS Windows Server Operating Systems: Domain design, Server Design,
Active Directory design, GPO design, Name Resolution design,
Registry enhancements
- Citrix: Secure Gateway, Web Interface, Zone Data collector, Citrix
Policy creation,
- VMware: Virtual Center, ESX, Cluster Design, Resource Pools, VMFS,
DRS/V-Motion
- Knowledge about Big IP, SAN, NAS, Firewall, Security, Hardware,
Networking, Web security/design
