Job Title: Development Product Manager

Reports to: Chief Technical Officer

Location: Denver (Aurora) office

Role/Responsibilities:

The Product Manager ("PM") is responsible for tracking the progress of
the development of Touchstar products and communicating that progress
to
the sales and operations departments. The PM will interface with
Development programmers to monitor progress on each project. The PM
will work with the development tools to produce accurate reports on
development for internal use. As part of this process, this person
will
be expected to document software changes and software status for
internal use. The PM will also be responsible for monitoring if
development requests and defects are acted upon in a timely manner.
The
PM will also interface with operations to help monitor ongoing defects
that require software changes, and with the Account Managers and
customers to keep them informed of the progress on critical customer
development issues. The PM will also work with Touchstar Account
Managers to help produce estimates for custom work. In addition, the
PM
will supervise the process of testing new features and new releases and
the rollout of new software releases.

The PM must have an understanding or be able to quickly and easily
learn
technical terminology and concepts such as hardware, databases, data
and
voice connectivity, telephony, etc. The PM must also have good
communication skills to interface with different departments within the
company and with customers, and to be able to document and report on
software modifications.

Skills:

* Experience in project management

* Ability to learn technical aspects of our products

* Business analyst or technical experience. Some prior exposure
to software programming would be a plus

* Excellent organizational skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Self-motivated, ability to work well independently

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Some
understanding of Microsoft Access and SQL Server would be helpful

Compensation:

* $45,000 - $60,000 salary, DOE
