team.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DOD ACCOUNT MANAGER:



Title: DOD Account Manager



Reports to: DOD Sales Manager





Job Summary:



The primary responsibility of this position is to work as a critical
part of the DOD sales team, supporting one or more Account Executives
in
order to maximize sales revenue opportunities, to ensure timely
communication with customers, and to meet and exceed their
expectations.



The Account Manager will act as a filter for one or more Account
Executives. This will allow the Account Executives to focus on
developing new sales opportunities, while the Account Manager will
continue to ensure customer satisfaction from existing accounts.

After completion of the sale, the Account Executive will introduce the
Account Manager to the customer as a way to transition the primary
communication to the Account Manager. The Account Manager will stay in
close and regular communication with customers and by communicating
open
issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.



In addition, the AM will also work closely with the assigned accounts
in
order to identify new sales/upgrade opportunities. The AM will also be
responsible for preparing proposals/emails and/or contracts related to
upgrades.





Responsibilities:



* Learn the key aspects of each customer's business as they
relate to TouchStar products

* Strategically analyze assigned accounts to identify additional
sales opportunities

* Prepare and send sales proposals/emails to customers for
upgrades

* Enter sales opportunity information into Salesforce

* Follow-up with customers to check on the status of receiving
approvals and pre-pay for upgrades requests

* Contact customers after upgrades to ensure customer
expectations are being met

* Respond to customer issues and inquiries; solve problems
individually or by working through other departments. Follow through
to
make sure the cause of the problem has been identified and resolved.

* Proactively contact all assigned customers a minimum of once
every month to check in on their status and involve appropriate
departments as necessary if support issues are unresolved or if sales
opportunities exist

* Conduct a customer satisfaction survey up to twice per year
(preferably 2 months after installation) in order to communicate issues
to appropriate departments for resolution. Follow-up to ensure issues
are resolved to customer's satisfaction.





Skills:



* Ability to learn the technical aspects of products, hardware,
and the telephony industry

* Ability to understand how the TouchStar product features
benefit the various aspects of our customers' operations

* Excellent organizational skills

* Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills

* Excellent written communication skills

* Negotiation skills

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Salesforce.com.

* Ability to analyze situations and react properly with minimal
supervision





Compensation:



$30,000-$35,000 base salary with 1% commission on assigned recurring
revenue
