position:

System/ Network Security Administrator
Consult with our clients in IT operations and on IT projects that focus

on system and network security, with phases that include design,
implementation, assessment, and management. Strong analytical
problem-solving skills, knowledge of network security audits, planning,

reporting, and implementation ability are essential. Ideal candidate
should have experience with a breadth of technologies, including Linux,

Unix, Microsoft, TCP/IP, and Cisco.

Key contributions of a System/Network Security Administrator at Applied

Trust include:

* Researching, developing and updating information security standards.
* Providing guidance on authentication, auditing, and risk management.
* Analyzing the functionality and operations of systems to determine
adequate security, controls, and data integrity.
* Mentoring less experienced engineering staff.
* Managing and resolving open IT issues.
* Conducting IT security incident investigation.
* Designing systems/networks.
* Performing technology evaluation and implementation.
* Debugging user-reported problems.
* Monitoring systems and networks.
* Performing security and performance assessments.

A BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant
major is required. Must have experience as a security administrator,
system administrator, or network administrator. Excellent
troubleshooting, planning, time management, project management, and
communications skills are also required.

Network Engineer

Applied Trust is looking for an individual with network engineering
skills to fill a permanent, full-time position. Job responsibilities
include working with clients on IT projects and IT operations, with
phases that include design, implementation, assessment, and management.

Individuals need to be highly motivated and eager to learn. Knowledge
of
Cisco enterprise routing, switching, and security platforms is
required.
Out-of-state travel is minimal.



Key contributions of a Network Engineer at Applied Trust include:



-Designing, implementing, assessing, and managing networks that include

a variety of technologies, including Cisco, TCP/IP, Linux, Unix, and
Microsoft.

-Troubleshooting network-related issues.

-Performing security, performance, and availability assessments.

-Managing and resolving open IT issues.

-Evaluating and implementing new technology.

-Debugging user-reported problems.

-Monitoring systems and networks.

-Integrating applications into a high-performance, quality-managed
network environment (includes VOIP).



A BS or MS in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical
Engineering, or ECE is strongly preferred, as is a Cisco CCNA or CCNP
certification. Minimum experience is 2 years working as a network
engineer. Excellent troubleshooting, planning, time management, and
communications skills required.
